While mentoring will always remain at the forefront of our mission, we are expanding our programs and services to include digital literacy, health and wellness, music and the arts, academic enrichment, and career pathways training. We are engaging thousands of promising youth and empowering future leaders for the betterment of our community.
From teaching him to swim, to getting to interact with dolphins in the Keys, we’ve had a blast. I want to acknowledge that I have gained a great deal too – I truly believe that the best way to help yourself is to help someone else, and the purpose of life is a life of purpose. Being a mentor with BBBS is a win-win all the way around.
