Big Brothers Big Sisters Of Miami Adds Patrick Lynch As Major Gifts Officer

August 19, 2019/in Announcements /by Courtney Coleman

MIAMI – August 19, 2019 – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami, the premier nonprofit mentoring organization in South Florida, announced its hiring of Patrick A. Lynch, Esq., MBA as its Major Gifts Officer. Lynch will support the organization’s goals by coordinating its major gifts program, including selecting and identifying major gifts prospects, as well as cultivating relationships with key donors in the local community.

With more than a decade of experience delivering sound legal and business solutions across nonprofit sectors, Lynch most recently served in Government and Community Relations for Baptist Health South Florida, where he expanded relationships and awareness for Baptist Health in Miami-Dade and Broward counties, in addition to helping raise funds for the Miami Cancer Institute. Prior to relocating to Miami in 2015, he served as the Director of Philanthropy for Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island.

“Patrick comes to us with an esteemed background in fundraising and community outreach, successfully engaging multi-million-dollar philanthropic campaigns,” said Gale Nelson, President and CEO of Big Brother Big Sisters of Miami. “We are excited to welcome him to our organization and look forward to accomplishing great things with him at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami.”

Lynch received a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School and a Master of Business Administration from Suffolk University Sawyer Business School. He currently serves as a co-organizer for TEDx Young Circle Park, is Chair of the Leadership Committee for Leadership Broward and is an engaged volunteer for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Be The Match.
